We have decided to host a FaithCamp this year in the MissionTV studio near Collegedale, Tennessee. It was a last-minute decision as we’ve had so many many things to catch up on after completing the “I Want This City” series for Adventist Mission that we didn’t have time to plan one. However, when we saw that Gayle Haberkam, Daniel and Tesha Bair, and Daniel Hill would all be here we decided to do a scaled-down version. So this year we won’t have camping or a cafeteria available, due to limitations of the site. Here’s what we know so far:
Dates: July 30 – August 3
Tentative Schedule:
Wednesday, July 30: 7pm
Thursday, July 31: 7pm
Friday, August 1: 9am, 11am, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm
Sabbath, August 2: 9am, 11am, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm
Sunday, August 3: 9am, 11am.
Location: 874 S. McDonald Rd. SW, McDonald, TN.
Camping: There is space but no facilities.
Please comment if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.
We covet your prayers as we look to the Lord to bring all this together. Â 🙂

We’ve added another very special place in our itinerary for a FaithCamp Lite – the Three Angels SDA Church in Owasso, Oklahoma, near Tulsa. This is Michael Strack’s home church (he’s working in Thailand at the TV studio there) and we have enjoyed some very good fellowship in the past here. We hope to see you there!

FaithCamp is coming to Eugene, Oregon this weekend, July 13 & 14 at the Eugene SDA Church, located at 1275 Polk St. We are blessed to have Tim Maddocks, missionary of over 16 years to Cambodia, with us to inspire and challenge to a deeper and more real relationship with Jesus Christ.

What a powerful FaithCamp this was! Some of the comments from the weekend were:
– “Our head elder was very pleased with FaithCamp and the powerful messages that he was able to attend. Good for our church and those who attended.”
– “One of our elders—Ron Honner said, “This was one of the BETTER weeks in our churches history†and the group agreed with his summary statement.”
– “Many didn’t realize that people are wrestling and make decisions to become missionaries and FaithCamp. They were thrilled by this process that went on and continues.”
– “Another said, “That it was evident that those who organized FaithCamp were very organized, had a plan and loved the Lord!—
– “They commended their pastor for his vision and positive strong leadership!”
We praise God and continue to pray that the seeds planted will flourish and grow into lives of faith and service for the King.

Praise the Lord our little van carried the 6 of us all the way to Idaho without any trouble at all, despite the fact it’s got 245,000 miles on it! Â I’m planning another 100,000 miles for it before we trade it in.
What a beautiful church! And the camp grounds are so carefully and beautifully designed, with a big campfire circle in the middle.
People are registering from all over and we believe this will be a wonderful outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we re-dedicate our lives to the Lord’s service. We look forward to seeing you here!
You can pre-register on the “**FaithCamp NorthWest” link to the right.

FaithCamp Lite in St. Helena was a beautiful and wonderful time where we sensed the Spirit moving in powerful ways through the messages and it was encouraging to see the response. People came from all over, one person even flying in from San Jose in his airplane. Â We had a Q&A Sabbath Evening and it went on ’till late.
We’ll have the audio files up soon and later the video files as well.

This week/weekend will be at St. Helena, California. We are really looking forward to presenting at the church Natalie and I got married in! What a change God has wrought in our lives since that day, what a journey it has been over the last 21 years! My only regret is that we didn’t give God full control earlier in our lives.
The schedule for this week will be:
Wednesday Evening, 7pm: Faith! Â presented by Jon Wood and Tim Maddocks.
Thursday Evening, 7pm: Christ-Likeness presented by Tim Maddocks
Friday Evening will be at the Angwin Village Church
Sabbath:
Sabbath School: Jon Wood, Tim Maddocks
Church: Jon Wood & Tim Maddocks
2pm: Jon, Natalie, and Family
4pm: Steve Rawlings and Daniel Adams
7pm: Question & Answer Time
Hope to see you there!

Our first FaithCamp in Southern California was a wonderful experience with full evidence of the Holy Spirit present and leading in a powerful way. People were hungry and open to the message of living by Faith and trusting in our Omnipotent God for our needs as we work to serve Him through “the least of these, my brethren.” Praise the Lord!

There will be multiples FaithCamps this year.
Look to the menu on the right to find which is nearest to you.
FaithCamp: Hayden Lake is the only one with a full daily schedule, designed for you to camp or stay overnight.
This year we’re introducing “FaithCamp Lite,” designed for people who have jobs during the day but would still like to attend FaithCamp. These have evening and Sabbath-only meetings. 🙂

At the Hayden Lake SDA Church, July 4-8
This is the traditional full-schedule FaithCamp.
We’re excited that FaithCamp Northwest this year will be held at the Hayden Lake SDA Church just outside of Coeur d’Alene and only 40 minutes from Spokane. The thing that makes this special is that our Pastor Dan Cole from Kamiah, where we were members during the formative stage of Jesus for Asia, is now the pastor there and we are working closely together again for this special FaithCamp.
More info to come!
